Always A Tiger

On January 11th, our new season ticket advertising campaign will begin. With the difficult economic situation in Detroit, we recognized that people will turn to our team for three hours of daily relief from the stress of everyday life. The Detroit Tigers have filled that role through World Wars, depressions and riots. With the bedrock industry of the city struggling to survive, our fans want to know that some things will not change--that is where we come in. The theme of our new campaign will be "Always A Tiger." It means that through the years, the Tigers have had the great Hall-of-Fame players, provided the great memories of your childhood, the bonding moments with your family & friends and the celebratory moments that have defined this city. "Always A Tiger" celebrates the Old English D--the symbol of strength, resilience and pride that has become not only the logo of the Detroit Tigers, but the unofficial symbol of southeast Michigan. The new commercials will start on Monday, followed by a re-design of the tigers.com masthead and background.

The 'old english' D has been a logo that has withstood time. It's been a cool logo for almost over a century now. Thats really saying something!

I would proudly wear a tee with this logo this Spring. We already have Verlander, Willis, Bonderman, Raburn, Avila, Iorg and I believe Gomez in camp. Will be out there again in the morning.

Free site and so are any images.

I like that slogan. It reminds me of all the "Old School" Tigers. They were once Tigers back in the days, and will always be Tigers.

after the tigers failed to win the world series and keep the title in the central i relized the tigers suck and always will suck...if them and the 07 indians dont get all choked up then the title would be in the central 3 years in a row!! but obviously those two teams arent and never will be as good as the white sox!!!!
