Two Tiger greats: Mickey Lolich and Hal Newhouser both led the American League in losses and then went on to lead the league in wins the following year. Lolich went from a 19L season in 1970 to a 25W season in 1971,while Newhouser posted 17L in 1947 and 21W in 1948.
