On Friday, October 22 the Detroit Tigers mascot, PAWS, made a special visit to a very special girl. With a Tigers gift pack in hand, PAWS made a surprise appearance at the home of Kathleen Edward in Trenton, Michigan.
Kathleen is a 7-year-old who is battling Huntington’s disease and was a recent victim of bullying. Kathleen was nothing but smiles as she was greeted after school.

On October 1, PAWS attended first grade with six-year-old AJ Failer. AJ was the winner of the  “Tigers.com Monthly Sweepstakes” for September. The visit from PAWS included Little Caesars Hot-N-Ready pizzas as well as PAWS lunchboxes for AJ and his classmates at Tenniswood Elementary School. AJ personally received a Magglio Ordoñez autographed baseball to commemorate the exciting event!
